To quote David Allen Grier, "America elected a black man with a brown name." I never thought I'd see the day. Now, even three days later, I'm still riding a momentous high as a result of the election.
Second of all, for a few months now, Kat (my girlfriend) and I have been talking about leaving Boston if and when I finish law school. Now, with our decriminalized pot, legal gay marriages, and most of the United States' best schools, I'm not sure we should be in such a hurry to leave. I think this may be the best place for a bleeding heart liberal to settle for life. Now I just have to convince Kat.
