- I was born politically active. As a child, I was marching in Washington with my mother protesting whatever cause seemed worth marching for. For many years, I volunteered and worked for LEPOCO in Bethlehem, PA. In my formative years, I was raised in the Quaker tradition, and although I consider myself an atheist today, I still hold their values of pacifism and social justice very close to my heart. I also ended up with several years of Friends' School education, first at George School in Newtown, PA, then at Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana. Now, many years later, I'm a law student with the expectation that I will be spending the rest of my life in public service. This blog will be the sounding board for my frustration, anger, and sometimes elation at the current political climate in this country. I can't believe it took me this long. This blog will alternate between the personal and the political, and between the funny and the serious. It will be my outlet when no one else is around to hear me. Please comment and email me if anything really sparks serious discussion.
